Pat Costello, Eugene O'Connor, Michael McElree and others have released a first draft of the GNOME User Guide that the Sun team is working on. The Sun team invites you to review the draft, and send any comments or suggestions to gnome_docs@sun.com. A pdf version is in GNOME cvs: /cvs/gnome/gnome-docu/gdp/contrib/user_guide/GNOMESSUG.pdf. The GNOME Documentation Style Guide has been adopted as our formal documentation writing style guide. In true free software style, the document will continue to evolve, with new sections to be added and elaborations as we use it. In other words, we plan to continue to release often.
