v0.1 of the the GNOME-Human Interface guide is now available. We'd appreciate any and all feedback as we're going to be driving for a finalized version soon in order to have any hope of being useful for GNOME 2 interface work. With the release of GNOME 2.0 fast-approaching, we're doing one final sweep of the complete GNOME 2.0 desktop, to clean up as many consistency and usability problems as we can.CHI workshop(Posted December 15)

We may not have had much visible news, but we've been busy little bees: working on the GNOME 2.0 Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). If you'd like to curdle your bodily fluids, you can now read a working draft. Many sections are being actively rewritten, but the version linked there should stay up to date with CVS. When we hit our next major milestone we will create a nice printable PS version and do our part in the war against america's forests.Next Meeting October 31 *CANCELLED* (Posted October 31... wooh, scary...)
There will be NO meeting this week, unless anyone has anything we particularly need to discuss. Seth intends to use the time to get changed into his nurse's uniform and let his nail polish dry.
