GNOME Bug Tracker
The GNOME Bug Tracker is a system that
allows users to file bugs they have found so that GNOME developers will know
about them and can fix them. GNOME uses bugzilla, a bug tracking system first
developed for the Mozilla project. Bugzilla allows us not only to fix bugs
that come in from our users, but also helps us track the stability of various
projects within GNOME.

-
The GNOME Bugsquad is a Quality Assurance (QA) team, that keeps track of the
current bugs within the project, and make sure that these bugs do not go
unnoticed. Within this tracking process, they help to continually 'triage' bugs
making sure that each bug has the correct category, severity and contains
enough information for the developer to be able to fix.
- Simple Bug Assistant

There are different ways of reporting a bug. By using the simple bug assistant, you
can avoid much of the terminology involved, as you are taken step by step through
the process. If you are used to reporting bugs, often the
advanced bug form is more
effective.
