libgnomedb features

This section presents the main features of the 4.0 version of libgnomedb.

Libgnomedb uses Libgda and provides ready-to-use graphical widgets extending the GTK+ toolkit; its main features are:

Data bound widgets where any GdaDataModel can be presented in a tabular, a form or a combo box.
A widget to display the contents of a dictionary.
A widget which acts as a SQL console.
A text widget to enter SQL text with syntaxic coloration.
A widget to enter the required parameters to execute a data definition query.
Widgets to manage data sources.
A widget to perform a login to a database.
Widgets specialized to enter and view diverse kind of data such as text, date, picture, along with a plugin system where custom made entry widgets can be used.
Widgets to represents graphs.
